What makes this place particularly special is the winter camel festival, witch we organize exclusively for you in collabration with the local herders during the winter months. (January-February)
The winter Camel Festival:
We believe that this celebration plays a vital role in preserving the proud heritage of Gobi and promoting the unique qualities of Mongolia's two-humped Bactrian camel to the world.
By collabrating with herder families, this festival not only increase the income of local residents but also aims to protect, and increase the camel pupulation, enhancing it's use and benefits.

This was our first trip with Gobi Girl... They took us to the Gobi desert in the middle of winter, to meet nomadic families who welcomed us as their own. It was a real eye-opener for us, and it made us fall in love with Mongolia forever! Thrills, heartfelt moments... Everything we love about travelling!
