THE ADVENTURE OF
MONGOLIAN NOMADIC LIFE

With true herders and nomadic families

ABOUT US

I’m Bolormaa, but everyone calls me Boogii. I’m a mum of two children. My husband Manal is also my partner in crime. We work together.

We were born in Gobi desert, we are herdsmen who passed down our heritage. We are so proud of our origins, that’s why we decided to share this passion and create our own travel agency in 2017.

Discovering Gobi with us is different than with any other travel agency.

We try our best to show you the real Mongolia. Our bonus is having the flexibility to produce tailor-made tours for our clients with a general itinerary.

We always stop by locals and try to share a moment with them.

Sleeping is never a problem. We improvise a campsite with our tent or we simply share a geer ( we call them “yourte”) with locals.

Manal is all you can dream of when talking about driving! He always knows how to get somewhere, even if there are no roads or maps. He’s a professionnal driver and a great mechanic.

I love cooking and would be glad to share Mongolian recipes with you! What I love above all is to make sure it’s homemade and made with love and tradition.

Why traveling with us ?

As we are herders ourselves, we know very well about the nomadic lifestyles and their culture. Based on this, we organize our own special trips.

True herders

In addition to learning about the herder’s cultural heritage and their lifestyles, we also organize camel trips with adventures in the wilderness.

Tailor made tour

Our bonus is having the flexibility to produce tailor made tours for our clients with a general itinerary.

The first 15 days of my one-month trip to Mongolia took me through the wild West: lakes, mountains, glaciers… breathtaking landscapes all along the way.

We spent a few days with a family whose father is an eagle hunter — a powerful moment, rich in pride and tradition. Despite the language barrier, we shared genuine, simple connections.

A beautiful immersion into Mongolian culture, between stunning nature and unforgettable encounters.

I had the incredible chance to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Mongolia over 14 unforgettable days with Bolormaa and Manal as my guides. Traveling in a mini truck and staying with local families for 10 nights allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the nomadic way of life — a rare and precious experience. Tomo’s family is amazing.

Bolormaa and Manal are kind, professional, and absolutely hilarious. Their energy made every moment of the journey feel special. Bolormaa, in particular, is not only an outstanding translator but also an exceptional cook — every meal felt like a gift!

If you’re planning a trip to Mongolia, don’t hesitate for a second — Bolormaa and Manal are the dream team to make your adventure authentic, joyful, and deeply human. Go for it!

I've been to the Gobi several times with Manal and Bolormaa, and they are always passionate about taking us to incredible places and to the homes of lovely families. These are moments that stay in our memories, and that we want to come back to again and again.
In France, they say you can't come to Mongolia just once. I can confirm that! <3

This was our first trip with Gobi Girl... They took us to the Gobi desert in the middle of winter, to meet nomadic families who welcomed us as their own. It was a real eye-opener for us, and it made us fall in love with Mongolia forever! Thrills, heartfelt moments... Everything we love about travelling!

Wonderful round trip journey with Boogii and Manal and their van in the Gobi desert.
Very lovely couple, always smiling, and very good cooking from Boogii, even in the van.
Beautiful landscapes, we have made horse and camel riding.
Very good welcome from local families in their yurts .
Thanks a lot Boogii and Manal

We had the chance to do our honey moon with Boogii and Manal for 2 weeks and that the most amazing moment of our life. Despite many trips in our life it was the first time that we saw so many true and rich people, nature and experience. We discovered such a pure country, sincere and peaceful people not spoiled. From the desert to the mountains to the night under the star we enjoyed every single moment.

We experienced this trip in 2023, and every part of it was a real pleasure! Everything was magnificent, the families we met became like friends in a matter of hours, the meals were excellent, and Bolormaa and Manal were always there for us! With kindness, attention and professionalism. And Hermen Tsav is a powerful, wild, out-of-this-world place! An incredible place that deserves to be visited again and again.

That trip was really nice, we spent a good time with Manal Family. We had a wonderful time on an iced lake with a giant bonfire for the new year.
Every day was an adventure full of surprises.
Thanks a lot to you two

The Gobi Desert was a highlight of my month in Mongolia, but it’s the days spent with Tomoo’s family that truly left a mark. A heartfelt immersion where shared routines, silent smiles, and nights in the yurt gave every moment a simple, unforgettable beauty.

More than just a trip — it was a true human connection, a lesson in humility and gratitude. Thank you to Tomoo, his family, and GobiGirl for this one-of-a-kind adventure.

I've been to the Altai twice, to meet eagle hunters. During the festival in autumn, and also in spring. Both periods are incredible for getting to know these mountains, this Kazakh culture and its exceptional people.
Sleeping with families, being welcomed as friends, eating and sleeping in front of the eternal glacier, meeting Mongolian wrestling champions, attending concerts, eating the best melons of my life... So many incredible moments that I couldn't possibly list them all!

Aucune note pour le moment

I've been to this national park several times with Gobi Girl, and each time it's a nice excursion to spend some time near UB. It's a breath of fresh air close to the city, with a good meal and a cultural dimension that can't be missed!
