Tour Itinerary:
08:30 AM Start from GobiGirl hostel:
Scenic 1,5-hour drive to Terelj National Park.
10:00 AM-Genghis Khan Statue Comlex:
~Visit the world's largest equestrian statue.
~Explore the museum and cilmb to the horse's head for panoramic views.
11:30 AM-Nomadic Culture& Horseback riding:
~ Visit a nomadic family to learn about their lifestyle
~Experience Mongolian Horseback riding
01:30 PM-Traditional Mongolian Lunch:
~Enjoy an authentic meal at a local Ger
~Try traditional dishes like buuz ( dumplings) or khorkhog (Mongolian BBQ)
02:30 PM-Turtle Rock& Ariyabal Meditation Temple:
~ See Turtle rock, a famous natural rock formation.
~Hike (30-40 min) to Ariyabal Buddhist Temple for nice views.
03:00 PM- Relaxing, Free time in nature:
~Take photos, walk in the nature...
04:30 PM-Return to Ulaanbaatar
06:30 PM-Drop-off At your Hostel

I've been to this national park several times with Gobi Girl, and each time it's a nice excursion to spend some time near UB. It's a breath of fresh air close to the city, with a good meal and a cultural dimension that can't be missed!
